Michael has over 25 years' corporate law experience, advising business and government through many economic cycles. He has been a principal in practice for over 20 years.
He represents local and foreign business in corporate, intellectual property and trade practices dispute resolution. He has acted in many cases of contract termination and enforcement, and in trade mark, copyright, patent, passing off, confidential information and franchising cases in Australian Federal and Supreme Courts.
He advises companies in competition matters, including business acquisition, product and manufacturer liability, recalls, pre-merger advice, restrictive trade practices, labelling and advertising.
He acts for shareholders and boards in private and public corporations about shareholders claims, and represents stakeholders in resolution of intra-business and estate disputes.
He acts in challenges to administrative decisions of local, state and federal government agencies.
Michael regularly presents to business and educational organisations about dispute resolution, intellectual property and trade practices.
