Specific assignments

• Acting on behalf of Multiplex in relation to the Brisbane Cruise Port Terminal and Portside Wharf development, a proposed mixed use development with volumetric subdivisioning, comprising retail, commercial and residential components
• Acting for vendor of the Adelaide Myer Centre, South Australia, Broadway on the Mall, Queensland and Ashmore Shopping Centre, Queensland and the purchaser of Market City and Birkenhead Point Shopping centres in New South Wales
• Acting on behalf of Multiplex in the purchase of the Bluewater development in Cairns, a proposed large scale master planned community
• Assisting QR Limited in relation to all property matters concerning Brisbane Central Station and also proposed development in and around Milton and Albion Stations

Paul is the Chairman of gadens lawyers Brisbane and a member of Gadens’ National Board.

He has specialist experience with all matters involved in commercial property including sales and acquisitions, property development and project financing, infrastructure development and leasing.

Paul has acted in a significant number of large property transactions on behalf of purchasers, vendors and mortgagees. He has also been extensively involved with the leasing, management and sale of many principal shopping complexes Australia-wide, and has represented developers of Central Business District apartments.

Paul also has expertise in the realm of rail infrastructure and transport matters and has represented government departments and government-owned corporations on a number of major developments and transactions.

Paul is the principal legal adviser to the Queensland Art Gallery and the Queensland Art Gallery Foundation.
